While leaving your dog or cat at HAL WHEELER'S you can be assured the best of care will be given.  Our facility was newly constructed in 1989, and offers accommodations that will make your pet's stay with us both comfortable and safe. Our kennel is completely enclosed offering a climate controlled environment and protection from adverse weather conditions.
 

Each guest has its own quarters and is exercised daily.  Since our kennel is enclosed your dog or cat can have access to exercise 24 hours if necessary.  Heated floors, sky lights throughout, closed circuit TV monitoring, soothing music played 24 hours, complete masonry construction providing for thorough sanitation and fresh air circulation are some of the amenities offered. 

We use the finest foods available, however if your dog or cat requires a special diet or medication we are equipped to adapt to your pet's needs. Computerized record keeping provides for accurate daily monitoring of his/her schedule.

Whatever is required to make our guest's stay a happy, healthy one.  With over 55 years in the industry, our staff is well qualified to assess your dog or cats needs.  Should he/she require veterinary care we will respond immediately.
 

In addition to the individual care our guests receive, we offer "Pampered Pet Care" to those clients who want their pet to receive extra special attention during their stay with us.  This service provides additional exercise and play or any special requests you may have.
 


 

If pet is recently adopted, please call for specific requirements.
In the interest of your pets health, we require proof of vaccination for all dogs
and cats entering our hotel.  No animal will be admitted without proper immunization.

No cats will be admitted with a positive leukemia test - NO EXCEPTIONS !!!
 

Vaccination Requirements

  • Minimum age is 8 months for both dogs and cats.

  • We do not board dogs over 9 years of age.

  • We do not board cats over 12 years of age.

  • Inoculations given under 16 weeks of age are not acceptable.  Further immunization is required for certain breeds.

  • Dogs:
         *  Distemper
         *  Parvo
         *  Bordatella (given within six months of arrival)
         *  Corona - (Recommended Not Required)
         *  Rabies

    * All vaccinations must have been given at least seven (7) days prior to arrival and not more than one year prior to arrival

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT EQUIPPED TO HANDLE OR BOARD SOME BREEDS OF DOGS.  WE ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE FOR TEMPERAMENT OR HEALTH REASONS.  PLEASE CALL REGARDING YOUR BREED.
